Area of research
Blaise Truong-Loï's research explores the social, political, and environmental dimensions of financial globalisation and global economic governance. Drawing on insights from other disciplines (economics, political science, law, sociology…), his work emphasises the significance of the late nineteenth century for understanding contemporary debates on capitalism. While finalizing the book manuscript drawn from his PhD dissertation on International financial control institutions (1870-1914), he'll start a new research project on the ownership of financial securities in French rural areas around the 1900s.
