Doctoral Program in History (30 credit ECTS Points)

The history seminar offers a graduate program in history. This program provides a unique opportunity to meet and work with our very diverse groups of doctoral students, professors and postdoctoral researchers: Members of the graduate program benefit from this epoch-spanning and cross-cultural cooperation as a source for innovative research.
The graduate program offers customized curricular and extra-curricular doctoral courses and workshops including studying transferable skills. Most ECTS credit points are, however, acquired through individual conference participation, workshop conceptualization, article writing etc. The program’s building blocks support young researchers in finding their individual approach to the disciplinary work and communication culture. They also help researchers check whether academia fulfills their concept of a satisfying work environment.
